I can't even begin to tell you how important these two were to five-year-old Jesse. I used to read the Koko book, and the National Geographic article about Koko over and over.

Reminds me of the great animal battle on JJGo! I may have even brought this up back then, but it still wasn't enough to get great apes on top.
I believe Koko has also met William Shatner, and Robin Williams.
