By the time I got to college, in 1999, the Jurassic 5 phenomenon was starting to get annoying. It wasn’t their fault. They had a lot of great beats, a great stage show, some good MCing. I met them once, and they were all super nice guys. But man did their fans get annoying. Boy oh boy.
But watching this video reminds me why I liked them in the first place. Ten years later, it still seems like a breath of fresh air.
