more from Maximum Fun
This pig toy is the single greatest item in the history of The Antiques Roadshow. It is so fantastic, I cannot believe it is real. Usually, when I'm watching the Roadshow, I announce which things I would buy if I were rich. I would pay the full auction valuation for this pig RIGHT NOW. I want this pig SO BAD.

Doppelganger
Does anyone else think Chompers looks a little bit like Jesse? It's something in the eyes...
I mean, no offense, Jesse. You're handsomer by far. But he could be your hideous wheeled vicious pig cousin. Maybe that's why you're so drawn to him.

This is a really cool toy and I am sure that my grandson would love it - too bad it is about 2000-2500 dollars too much over my spending budget :(

Wear white gloves!!!
I can't watch Antiques Roadshow. I have an MA in Museum Studies was a museum curator for eight years. When I watch AR, I cringe - they never wear white cotton gloves to handle artifacts. It's like nails on a chalkboard.
That said, this pig is perhaps the coolest artifact ever. It might even beat the two-headed calf in the New York State Historical Society collection/The Farmer's Museum in Cooperstown, NY.
Hmmm... Two headed calf, giant chomping pig toy. Which wins?
Discuss.

Two-Headed Calf/Pig
I think this pig toy is great! The two headed calf is decidedly NOT a toy, so there is less fun to be had with it. However, THC could be fun as an object to place around one's home at rotating locations for maximum scare value. I wonder if the original owners did that. Doubtful.
