Win Tickets to see Louis CK!

Win Louis CK Tickets from The Sound of Young America!

This week, Louis CK will be doing two surprise shows at Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco. That's right. Wednesday night and Thursday night, Louie will be sharing his unique standup voice with all of us non-geniuses.

For those of you unfamiliar with his work, he's written for Conan O'Brien, the Chris Rock Show, TV Funhouse, The Dana Carvey Show, and more, in addition to his upcoming HBO sitcom "Lucky Louie."

How can you win tickets to Wednesday night's show, courtesy of Louie, me, and the good folks at Cobb's? Add a comment to this post with your real email address and your real name. I'll pick a winner randomly Monday at midnight. That winner and a guest get free tickets to see Louie!

(If you hate the idea of putting your name and email out there, you can email that info to me with Louis CK in the subject; make sure you still add a comment below with some distinguishing characteristic referenced in the email. I need the name and email to get you your tickets.)

What would life be like without Louis CK? For all those hard working Americans who create the backbone of our industrious society, Louis CK is their goodnight chuckle. Without Louis, these hard workers would come home at night to sit in the depressing glow of dry, buzzing television before another painful night of unrest. The hinges of our great nation would slowly rust, our workforce would crumple under the great weight of 'lack of laughs,' and that would be the end of all of us. But there is no need to fear, because Louis CK is alive and writing comedy, and lucky for us will be appearing in SF soon! Society as we know it is saved! Blue collar citizens will keep giggling themselves to sleep, and waking with that fresh determination to progress our nation. Thank you Louis CK. And thank you Jesse Thorn for bringing the people closer to him.

Am I the only person who is afraid that Louis is about to blow up? I've loved him since his HBO Young Comedians Special from like 10 years ago and I like seeing him in small clubs. Like on Wednesday or Thursday at Cobb's (hint, hint!).
