Parliament-Funkadelic in 1976.
The incomparable Glen Goins on the lead vocals. Goins died in 1978 of Hodgkins Disease, shortly after leaving P-Funk because of poor treatment from George Clinton. He was purportedly given six months to live before even joining the Funk Mob, then lived a further two and a half years.

I was "not just knee deep" (i couldn't resist) into p-funk for a few years before I came around to taking to this song, and I listened to it every day for months straight. This is an incredible clip. You've made my day.
Fantastic clip... unbelievable - the sheer vocal talent combined with a damn good time...
