Joe Budden - Broken Wing Freestyle
This is brand new (check the Cory Lidle allusion), and it's fantastic. Budden has a bit of Redman, a bit of Jay-Z and a lot of talent. Def Jam has been doing him dirty for almost five years now, but if he keeps making music like this, he'll have a long career.
When you hear Joe you hear the conviction and diction
That open emotion, devotion is different
Real talk of when he ain't have a pot to piss in
He ain't have a car not one rock to glisten
I'm giving 'em non-fiction,
conning his addictions
Ya'll got the easy job, just listen

I've been a Joey fan since that was possible for a Houstonian, but I do not like this song, mostly because I hate that beat. I hated it when 2Pac used it and I hate it now.
As for the Lidle reference, that guy comes insanely quick with the sports references. Earlier this year on the "Carzy (Remiz)", he had a line that went like "I'm like Josh Howard/ I had to call a timeout, even though it might cost the game". The guy's easily one of my favorite MCs still doing it.
Oh, and good looking out on the I Pledge Allegiance... album. Very good.
Out of curiosity, where did you come by this?
I noticed of all the places I subscribe to you were a day ahead on this.
I don't remember... I think maybe the boards at OKP?
There is no way you can listen to this freestyle and not like it. Point back period
The houston dude is retarded

If you liked this you need to check out his Mood Muzik series. This is the best music alive, but because Jay-Z was the president of Def Jam he was hated on.
