Holiday guest suggestions?

Anyone have any bright ideas for holiday-themed guests?

Thinking about putting together a new holiday special.

The modern bards of Thanksgiving, Arlo Guthrie and Adam Sandler.

(New Sincerity Alert?) Get out your smoking jacket and eggnog, and do a Christmas variety show, a la the classic Andy Williams Christmas Show.

Aimee Mann has a new Christmas album out.

Also, punk band The Vandals...they have a classic (hilarious) Christmas album from the 90s and always play holiday shows in SoCal.

Yeah, I was going to suggest the Vandals too, they have annual Christmas shows.

They are pretty "jokey" but seem to put a lot of thought into what they do and have a really strong perspective. Good musicians too.

Perhaps a return engagment from John Waters? Is he doing another installment of his Xmas thing?

Get some funny Jewish comedians on to talk about Hannukah.
Eugene Mirman, Todd Barry, Leo Allen, etc.
I know Todd Barry has played some special Hannukah shows in the past.
I'm sure you don't want to copy TAL too much, but David Sedaris has some great holiday stories. Maybe have him read something from "Holidays On Ice" ?
Or just play one of the stories from the audiobook version.
A nice balance between Hannukah, Christmas, and Kwanza would be cool.
Any holidays I'm missing there?

Parody of Welles' War of the Worlds broadcast, told from a Jewish comedian's perspective, with Baby Jesus (and Mohammed, why not?) as the aliens.

(Sorry, I thought you said you wanted publicity for the show.)
