George Clooney's pig died at 19. The pig slept in Clooney's bed, which is the GREATEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD.

Good call on the Popmatters article.
Jen Kirkman's great, too.
I remember her from the "Your Friend In Hollywood" bit in an older podcast.
She ever going to be on the show?
The AICN interview's with Laraine Newman, not Jane Curtain.
I caught that Popmatters article a few days ago, and it makes a ton of sense. Tom Joyner and Russ Parr pretty much own morning radio in DC, to the point where I don't even see advertising for any of their competitors.
And I second that Jen Kirkman's great. I keep forgetting to read her blog, and I need to be better about that.
Oh, and thanks Jesse.
Jen's is the only "what's up with me" kind of blog I read regularly. It's fascinating and hilarious.
I love that Don Carman story. When I was an 11 year-old kid in Philadelphia, a friend and I, working on a tip that Darren Daulton was staying at a nearby house, knocked on the door, Daulton cards in hand. A guy answers the door with the news that Daulton wasn't around so we turned around and walked home, but not before we realized that the person answering the door was Phillies LHP Don Carman. An hour later we went back and he was thrilled to give a couple autographs, which was touching, since we had unknowingly snubbed him no too long ago.
Jesse, sorry to see your Slate podcast run come to an end. Will there be a next time?
Probably Mike. I'll hopefully be the go-to fill-in when Andy is on vacation or needs a break. Hurray!
Oddly enough, I'm good friends with Laraine Newman's daughter.
