Podcast: Jordan, Jesse Go! Episode 7
In this week's Jordan Jesse GO!...Intro
Broadcast live from a cattle auction.Jesse and Jordan discuss their relative sadness. Listeners have decided that Jesse is clearly sadder. Jesse's a professional podcaster -- a little sad. Jordan mentions that it's perhaps even sadder that he is the guy who sits in on the podcasts. Jordan mentions that a fear of sadness drives him to do stuff.
Is there a good kind of club that Jesse could join?
Top Fives
Two celebrity high fives... Matt Walsh of the Upright Citizens Brigade shares with us his top five holidays, most of which have to do with football. Then Jimmy Pardo & the Never Not Funny gang give us their top five Jimmy Pardo Ailments of 2006.
Things Get Personal
Jesse & Jordan answer a top five of personal questions sent in by listener Benedict Harris.
The questions:
Wet or dry shave?
How much do you pay for haircuts?
Pet history?
Position on circumcision?
What are your best colors?
Blockbuster Nightmare
Jesse describes his nightmare experience at Blockbuster Video, featuring a man trying to rent a video without ID, a blockbuster account, or even filling out a form.
Then the larger question: Jesse's girlfriend Theresa is almost done watching every episode of Sex & The City. First of all, what do you think of the show? If you like it, why? If not, why?
Secondly... what show should she watch now that she's done with it?

Jesse,
I relate completely as a teetotaler. For a moment during my formative years, eschewing alcohol was part of the Chuck D sort of ethos that revolutionary white kids like myself aspired to. I even went pork-free for a few years, so go figure. To me it was a matter of a strong will and self control, but in high school, it wasn't that difficult. In college, I was even more determined, but it did narrow the social options in a town like Davis, CA. All the while, I thought it would get easier, but as an adult, it's a respectable thing that nearly everyone makes the center of their social life. I'm glad I met my wife when I did (I was 18 or 19 when we first met) because I too would have no skill "out there".
I know Jesse made a comment about how all grown men should have an iron. Maybe you should do a contest where you give away an iron to someone in need. I have an extra iron and I'd donate it to your cause.
I hate Sex in the City too. This is mostly because my ex-girlfriend refers to me in blog posts as Aiden. This wouldn't be so weird if I hadn't been dating someone else for 3 years.
Stay Gangster.
