wow, PE in full effect! Oh my God! Know anything about the DJ? This is the best they've sounded in years. My brother got me one of those Chuck D action figures for Christmas.
DJ Johnny Juice Rosado, original member of the Bomb Squad.
that's odd, I don't remember seeing his name on the old albums. This one definitely has the Bomb Squad DNA but sounds current at the same time.
nas pulled off a coup with that lineup. still not 30, but I feel very old right now.
Robin Thicke was on Jimmy Kimmel last night! His affectation is quite off-putting and he really does look like his dad. How is he good again?
I heard that PFT vs. Philly Boy Roy segment on the Best Show a few weeks ago, and that was SOLID GOLD. Sometimes Scharpling gets on my nerves, but any show with Philly Boy Roy is a "W" in my book. Before PBR called in, Tom chatted for a while with PFT, and that was also quite funny. Scharpling and Tompkins would make a good radio team.
Robin Thicke is a good singer and an excellent producer and songwriter. I saw him perform at a mall and his affect was a bit annoying, yes. But that's the life of the aspiring pop star.
Buy his first record for $2 or whatever on half.com, and tell me it isn't great.
Hey Mike Devlin,
Johnny Juice here. My name was mentioned on both "Yo! Bumrush the Show!" and "It Takes a Nation..." but only minimally.
I did many of the scratches on those albums. I have been with Chuck for quite a while and I produced "Air Conditioning" as well as the cuts.
You can hear my cuts on the first "Slick Rick" album, the first Leaders of the New School album, and many more.
Thanks for the love.
PEace.
