The Goon Show

For those of you who are torrent-capable (and if you're not, what are you stealing with? Napster? Audiogalaxy? Come on, it's 2007)...

The Goon Show's Greatest Hits

The torrent features the following episodes of the legendary British radio comedy series:

Napoleon's Piano
Tales of Old Dartmoor
The Mystery of the Mary Celeste (Solved)
The Treasure of Loch Lomond
(The Search for) Rommel's Treasure
Lurgi Strikes Britain
Ned's Atomic Dustbin
Ill Met by Goonlight
The (Great) International Christmas Pudding

The show inspired Monty Python and launched the careers of Peter Sellers, Harry Secombe and Spike Milligan. Having been raised in part by a stepmother from Belfast, the Goon Show was a vital part of my upbringing -- it's hard to imagine something more inspirational and brilliantly loopy.

You can also buy CDs of the Goon Show, which are put out by the BBC. I encourage you to do so.

(thanks, Teaflax!)
