Awesome. I've been loving the Call of the Week. Shearer HATES these guys.
Did you know that PBS is planning its first primetime cartoon series based on the adventures of the Car Talk guys?
Its true, Jim Lehrer recorded some audio for the first few episodes. he plays - get this - JIM LA-HAIR.
Isn't that a hoot!
The first episode is about those wacky car talk fellows making a car that runs on PASTA! Now thats what I call and ALTERNATIVE fuel source! or should i say and alternative fuel sauce !

OK - so did you see that McSweeney's thing last week - "AN ORDER OF SERVICE FOR THE FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH OF CARL KASELL"? For some reason, McSweeney's removed it from the site, but you can get the cached page. Anyway, the best part is the end:

LEADERS: Behold, you've wasted another perfectly good hour.
