Goodbye, Woofs.

I just never imagined I would love a dog like I loved this little guy. Goodbye, pal.

If you're thinking of getting a pet, please adopt, and take care of the little fella for me, huh?

And thanks to the many folks who've sent emails and called and posted on the board such kind thoughts about me and Theresa and the little guy. He was well-loved, and he never suffered.

Sorry for you loss, Jesse. Like many Maximum Fun listeners the story of Woofie moved me. But at least becuase of his ordeal many were educated about taking care of their pets. In that way, the little guy lives on.

I know this will sound cheesy, but as long as you remember him, he's still there for you.

For whatever it's worth (which I know isn't a lot), I'm so sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear the news. You were certainly good caregivers to the little guy.

This is really sad news. He sure was an adorable little puppy, and although he wasn't around for too long, at least he had the opportunity to be loved by two very caring people. I hope you and Theresa are doing allright and have plenty of memories of the little guy.

It takes a big person to care for an animal who is sick - he was a lucky dog. And, I will add, damn cute. I'm sorry for your loss.

Losing an animal that becomes a close friend is one of the most difficult things! It's something almost everyone can relate to, obviously. I've even myself wondered at times if the pain is worth the pleasure of owning a great pet, but I think it certainly is. Although losing your little buddy at such a young age has got to be the worst feeling, I hope you and Theresa will be willing to adopt when enough time passes. Sorry for your loss, pal.
