James Adomian's Bush Blog

Ever since I published George Saunders' Ask the Optimist last week, I've been getting emails asking whose pitch-perfect Bush impression was featured in the show. The answer is James Adomian, who's been doing brilliant impressions around LA for several years now. My personal favorite character is a semi-retired, effeminate 1970s variety show host ("Heeeeeey gang... wanna know how to get to Malibu? Head north on the PCH and turn left when you hit Ben Vereen.")

Anyway, he's started a new "Bush Blog" on YouTube, featuring his pitch-perfect malapropisms and deeply knitted brow. Great, great stuff. Above, our nation's president discusses warrantless wiretapping.
