I'm rewatching the entire series right now, I'm on Ep 2 of Season 4 and its like watching it for the first time again, it doesn't get old. Maybe that's why the DVD's are so damn expensive!
When the Emmy award nominations came out this year, and the Wire was snubbed, again, in the acting categories, I gave up on thinking the awards mean anything.
Michael K. Williams is genius as Omar. One of the best performances ever on television. And, of course, the rest of the cast--friggin brilliant.
"Rust, a fungus disease, sapped the
wheat crop. Production of durum wheat dropped from the 10-year average
of 31,547,000 bushels a year to 4,976,000 bushels."
