YouTube Comments on Ask the Optimist
The two parts of "Ask the Optimist" on Youtube have over 300,000 combined views. I estimate that of those 300,000, about 3 got the joke.

"boring peice of cunt" is kind of funny,,,, Or maybe I just watch too much Curb Your Enthusiasm.
I think anyone shoving it in our face that they make a living selling gum is a bit of a show of themselves.
If you have Greasemonkey in your Firefox browser you can install this script that will make YouTube comments disappear. I can't imagine visiting YouTube without it. Although I must say, Pantera does rule.
LOLSHAX HAS A POINT!
I have no empirical data to back this up, but I'm pretty sure that the very worst commenters on the internets are on YouTube.
In my experience only about 3 in every 300K comments on YouTube are anything but mouth-breathing keyboard drool. Hockeyprincess87 does seem to be at least trying to get into the spirit of things, but maybe you can't be funny with a number in your name.
I thought everyone would be all over "SHOW OFF. I MAKE MONEY SELLING GUM". That seems like something Tracy Morgan would say on 30 Rock taken out of context. Of course I read everything written online in all caps with a Tracy Morgan voice.
