Charlie Brooker on The Wire



Earlier this morning, BoingBoing linked to Charlie Brooker's "Screen Wipe." Brooker is a funny and vitriolic BBC4 reviewer, who by all accounts hates everything. Then MaxFunster Patrick emailed me Brookers' review of The Wire, which is funny and very accurate. It's above.

I have to agree. And kudos to this blog for advocating The Wire. I got it on DVD a couple of months ago (4 seasons). Best show I think I've ever seen. I know it sounds like hyperbole, but hey, get season 1 and treat yourself. And I'm not a TV guy really.
