It does look an awful lot like Jewel Staite, yes. Somebody might want to tell her publicist.
Yes, that is indeed Jewel "Becca from Flash Forward" Staite.
And yes, that photo is from a photo shoot from a few years ago and was more than likely used illegally.
Is that above a Yoshinoya? I'm living in Chicago, where they're sadly missing. Damn you and your readily available, delicious and cheap donburi's!
Photographers sell their images to stock houses all the time. This could very well be legitimate; the designers may have that image on a clip art disc or something.
She isn't that well known.
OK, so I just searched for "woman lying down bare feet" on both Corbis and GettyOne and went through all the photos, and here is what I found out:
