Sarah Haskins' "Target Women"

Over the holiday break, I spent a few hours watching Current on my mom's new fancy satellite dish. By far my favorite thing was this recurring segment, "Sarah Haskins' Target Women." I think it's sharp, genuinely funny, and for once talking-head TV is snarking on something that deserves to be snarked upon. The territory is well-worn, but Haskins is charming and pleasant without missing out on opportunities to really stick it to 'em. Bully to you, Sarah Haskins!

oh my god thank you for sharing this. Honestly, I get so tired of being treated like I am so, so dumb by the media because I am a girl. And I feel like I am taking crazy pills because EVERYONE PUTS UP WITH IT.It's nice to have a funny lady (Be funny and a lady at the same time!? whaddya know?) take a crack at how wack the media is when it comes to us ladies.Renews my faith in humanity.

Okay, Jesse, I believe you now. I was listening to an old Sound of Young America the other day in which you encouraged me to visit the web site and not just listen to the podcast. I was like, no way, I read too many blogs already!But then I did a google search for Sarah Haskins, and this was one of the top hits. I guess I have to admit that by the time I've heard of someone cool, you've already heard of them.
