Humphrey Ker is adorable. <3

Humphrey Ker is adorable. <3 If he is looking to date a short, pudgy, Jewish girl from NYC, tell him to give me a call.
I like this new show a lot! It certainly kept me in good spirits during jury duty. I look forward to more. :)

slash fiction nomenclature

It will surprise almost no one who doesn't already know...but "slash" fiction is so called because the first prevalent form of it was written, as noted on the show mostly by women for their own masturbatory fun, about Kirk and Spock having sex, or eventually Kirk/Spock fiction, referred to aloud as "Kirk Slash Spock" fiction. If only more people used the Latinate term, it could today be known as "solidus" fiction.

"Well, it's solid for us!"

Slash fiction entomology

Slash fiction is a sub-genre of fan fiction that originates from homoerotic fan fiction involving Star Trek's Capt. Kirk and Mr. Spock, also known as Kirk/Spock. And thus, the term "Slash" fiction.

I know this because of reasons.
