You should read this article in regards to the grey and orange and problem. You are not the first to notice, and after you read this article you will not be able to watch any hollywood movie from the last 10 years without going insane. http://theabyssgazes.blogspot.com/2010/03/teal-and-orange-hollywood-plea...
I would like to present theory on the ill-advised baseball bearding. I believe it is meant to be a superstitious ritual /team bonding exercise that occurs in the playoffs. I've seen it happen in the NHL, too.
I'm a big fan of the show and have listened to most of them over the course of the last few years. But I have to stop.
Just a few minutes in, this episode drops the third rape joke in the last five episodes. As a victim of rape, let me tell you: That's not cool. At all.
The issue isn't even that I'm offended by the light-hearted approach to sexual violence. It's that it reminds me what happened and re-traumatizes me. I'm listening to the podcast to have fun and not to feel like shit for the rest of the day. It's a shame I can't do that anymore.
