Fostering!

Any/all breeds are present in the shelter system. They could easily find any sort of doodle or poo they're looking for by searching on Petfinder.com. And lots of rescue organizations will allow prospective pet parents to foster dogs before committing to an adoption, in order to make sure the dog will be a match for its new home. The judge's advice was sound, but Mike and Christine should stay far away from breeders, who are contributing to pet overpopulation while millions of healthy, furry pups are put to death every year. Instead, spend volunteer time at a dog rescue group and/or foster a "hypoallergenic" dog like a poodle or poodle mix before adopting. This way, you are helping rescue dogs AND exploring the option of adding a family member who will be so grateful to have a loving home.

Best Dog ever

Guys! Get an AussieDoodle. Smaller than a golden, cutest dog ever, great with kids, totally fine in a smaller space. Maybe find someone with a doodle mix and borrow it for a while, see how it goes.

why poodle mix?

I'm curious why they are so pro-poodle mix. Why not a poodle or portuguese water dog? Both breeds supposedly are viable for those with fur allergies. Malia Obama's allergies are what made the selection of the adorable Bo the First Dog, who is a portuguese water dog.
