The Sklar Brothers were on Conan this week to promote their new album "Hendersons and Daughters". Their time included some lovely analysis of Google searches and the problems that may result when you start hoarding episodes of Hoarders.

Jesse recently visited Sklarbro Country (the podcast of Jason and Randy Sklar) to deliver a very funny fantasy report that does not discuss any aspect of the upcoming NFL season. You can find the episode, "Twitter King Me", here.

• Baron Vaughn released his debut album last week on AST Records. It's called "Raised by Cable".
• The Sklar Brothers will be releasing their third CD, "Hendersons and Daughters", on Sept. 13th.
• Eugene Mirman is hosting a science fair. The event will precede a taping of StarTalk with Neil deGrasse Tyson and Kristen Schaal and the whole evening will be the kickoff event for Mirman's annual comedy festival. It's going down on the 15th at the Bell House in Brooklyn and Mirman is currently seeking out interesting inventions to display. So if you're a comedy fan and you've also created a unique and fascinating scientific-y thing that you can easily transport to Park Slope by Thursday . . . well, first, you are awesome. Second, you should probably drop Mirman a line.
• And finally, Charlyne Yi and Fred Armisen will appear in an upcoming episode of "Yo Gabba Gabba"! I'm guessing they get to keep the hats.

This week I visited one of my favorite podcasts, Sklarbro Country. It was my second appearance as the Sklars' Fantasy Analyst. Since the major sports networks have pretty much cornered the market on fantasy baseball, football and basketball analysis, we venture a little further afield. This time around, it was fantasy antiques.

Our pals The Sklar Brothers have been working for some time on this web series, Held Up. For a web series, it's extraordinarily ambitious. Full feature length (in 9 parts), a wonderful cast (Tig, Steve Agee, friend of SPY Jon Dore), and funny as hell. Check out the rest of the series here.
