My six-year-old loves this movie

Hi Flophouse guys! Enjoyed this episode very much. All your comments were pretty much spot-on, and when you asked, "If I were a 12-year-old girl, would I love this movie?" I would say yes, although you might have to lower the age range a bit. I have two daughters--a 6-year-old and a 10-year-old--and they both enjoyed the movie. But my 6-year-old is IN LOVE with it. So that pretty much fits, because she's not real concerned with a plot that makes sense or logical character development. It's got fairies and pop music and cute(?) animal-like things, so it's perfect.

Also, I'm not sure if anyone else has commented on this, but I'm pretty sure that the blue fairy is not the same character as the opossum-looking imp guy.

I avoided seeing this movie for a few weeks after my kids first watched it, but then my husband sold me down the river and pointed out that "Mommy hasn't seen Strange Magic yet!" So then I was trapped. But as dopey as it was, it was NOT the worst thing I've watched with the kids for their sake. Not by a longshot.
