I'm very much enjoying your podcasts. I find the history of medicine fascinating, and contemplating all its past fads and follies is a little comforting when I can't afford regular care from today's (presumably more science-based) practitioners. Admittedly this is a small sour attitude, but you take what you can get.

You indicated at some point that you were open to suggestions. I don't know how family-friendly you have to be, but subjects such as the historical treatments of pregnancy (and/or impotence, for gender balance) would seem to be good candidates for your treatment. I personally have a tender spot for poor old Ignaz Semmelweis and think more people ought to know about him. And I'd also like more people to know about Henrietta Lacks; maybe your audience will all be familiar with Rebecca Skloot's book, but it might fit into a more general discussion about the development of informed consent.
